Lambton County Library strives to provide a balanced collection of materials that meets the cultural, recreational, educational and informational needs of Lambton County. We offer a range of materials in our collection, including books, eBooks, audiobooks, eAudiobooks, magazines, eMagazines, newspapers, eNewspapers, CDs, eMusic, DVDs, electronic movies and tv series, video games, Library of Things, Playaway Views and Launchpads, theme kits, Makerspace equipment, and a collection of materials in accessible formats. In addition to a wide collection of books in multiple genres such as fiction, non-fiction, picture books, and graphic novels, we have a range of book collections.

      • Study material for English language learning, including proficiency tests such as TOEFL and TOEIC (beginner to advanced levels) are available. They are located at the Sarnia Library.

Material Donations

We do not accept material donations such as books, DVDs and audiobooks, except material of local interest. All local history materials will first be made available to the Lambton County Archives for its collection which best ensures material preservation. Recommendations for Purchase

If you are looking for an item that is not available in our collection, use the Request for Purchase Form. We will consider the item for purchase or try to borrow it for you from another library system.
